The Fungia Coral, commonly known as a Plate Coral, is an eye-catching LPS species prized for its bold coloration, flowing tentacles, and unique free-living growth form. It often displays vibrant shades of orange, green, purple, and pink that illuminate beautifully under reef lighting.

This coral features a flat, disc-shaped skeleton with radiating ridges and fleshy tissue that expands and sways with the water movement. Its ability to inflate, puff up, and even move slightly across the sandbed makes it one of the most intriguing corals to observe in a reef aquarium.

Fungia corals are considered easy care and thrive in tanks with stable water conditions, moderate lighting, and gentle to moderate flow. They prefer placement on the sandbed, where they have plenty of room to expand and can avoid damage to their delicate underside. While hardy, they respond well to occasional feeding and consistent nutrient levels, which help maintain their color and overall health.

With proper care, the Fungia Coral becomes a dynamic and visually stunning addition that brings color, motion, and personality to any reef tank.

Shipping Rates:

All coral orders need to be shipped priority overnight. This service has a flat rate of $50. There is no additional cost for additional corals added and shipping is FREE with orders over $350. We ship out on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Your order will be shipped out on Tuesday after cleared payment, unless you ask us to hold it for a specific day. Please put a note on the order for desired shipment day.  

All orders are shipped through FedEx Priority Overnight, no signature required unless you request it or if the order is over $800.  

DOA Warranty -- In an event of DOA, it is buyer's responsibility to send me a clear digital picture of dead coral within 2 hours of delivery. All approved DOA will receive store credit towards future purchase, shipping is non refundable .
