The Cynarina Coral, often referred to as a Button Coral or Cat’s Eye Coral, is a stunning and highly prized LPS species known for its oversized fleshy polyp and radiant coloration. It commonly displays rich tones of red, orange, pink, and green with translucent highlights that shimmer beautifully under reef lighting.

This coral features a single, large, inflatable polyp that expands dramatically, giving it a full, cushion-like appearance. Its glossy, almost jelly-like texture and striking color gradients make it one of the most captivating focal pieces in any reef aquarium.

Cynarina corals are considered easy to moderate care and thrive in systems with stable water parameters, moderate lighting, and gentle to moderate flow. They do best when placed on the sandbed, where their delicate tissue can expand without abrasion. While generally hardy, they appreciate regular feedings and consistent nutrient levels to maintain their size, color, and overall health.
