How Long Does a ReefMat 1200 Roll Last?
Fleece consumption depends on aquarium size, livestock load, feeding frequency, water quality, and the amount of suspended debris in the system.
According to Red Sea, one 35-meter ReefMat 1200 roll should typically last approximately 5–8 weeks on a moderately stocked 170-gallon (650-liter) reef aquarium. Bare-bottom systems may use fleece more quickly, and consumption can initially be higher after installing a ReefMat as accumulated particulate waste is removed from the system.
Easy Replacement
The ReefMat system is designed so the fleece roll can be replaced without removing the entire ReefMat from the sump or shutting down your aquarium's return pump.
Once a new roll is installed, simply confirm the new roll through the ReefBeat app and the ReefMat will resume automatic operation.
