Automatic Mechanical Filtration

Traditional filter socks work well, but they require frequent removal, washing, and replacement. If dirty socks remain in the sump too long, trapped organic material continues breaking down within the aquarium system.

The ReefMat 1200 automates this process.

As aquarium water passes through the fleece, suspended particles become trapped. As the fleece becomes clogged and the water level inside the ReefMat rises, the integrated sensor activates the drive motor and advances a clean section of fleece into position.

Used fleece—and the waste trapped within it—is rolled away from the water automatically.
